The Cilento Coast is one of Campania's most remote corners. With shimmering waters, secluded coves and inviting towns, it has all the ingredients for a relaxing holiday, where you can mix lazy days in the sun with the chance to experience the Italian culture.
Less well-known than its neighbour, the Amalfi Coast, the whole Cilento area is swamped in history and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. After breakfast, we'll start our explorations as we head off on an included excursion to the medieval town of Castellabate. Located high on a hill, from here we'll admire fantastic views across the countryside and out to sea, and enjoy a walk through the arches and passageways of the town centre. Later, enjoy a relaxing lunch at a vineyard. The rest of the day has been left free for you to spend at your leisure. Perhaps enjoy a stroll with your travelling companions or relax at your hotel, which boasts a swimming pool and private beach.

Amalfi and the Coast

Amalfi and the Coast

Be sure to visit the picturesque town of Amalfi, which is beautifully situated between the mountains and the sea. It is dominated by an impressive marble Romanesque cathedral which is said to hold the remains of St Andrew.

Due to its incredible popularity there are restrictions along the Amalfi roads depending on the size of the vehicle, day of the week and other variables, and can also be impacted by local weather conditions. To meet these requirements our itinerary will be adapted and confirmed on the day.

After Amalfi we may sail along the coast to Salerno and enjoy some free time here. Either way make sure to bring along your camera to capture the spectacular views along your journey.
